Permanent Knowledge,
(1/1)
Mr Feltzer:
I Have an Idea, Maybe when you find a Book You Can Use it. and Permanently have it in youre Mind. Therfore you wouldent need a Book for EVERYTHINg.
If this dosent seem good, Maybe you can buy a Holotape with the book on it, Its REALLY Hard to Find and they cost like 20K, But Its also Permanent Knowledge.
Thoughts?
vedaras:
i kinda like the idea :> its really annoying for me to take book or even too for item everytime you want to make it :> maybe there could be intelligence requirement to "remember" or something but still it would be good.
blahblah:
There should just be a portable workbench that weighs 80kg and is usable only if you carry it.
Swinglinered:
I'd go the opposite direction and require multiple books for complicated things as well as blueprints.
Also I would make them wear out.

I'm with ya'.
Especially with the blueprints idea. You want to craft some advanced gear (CA, Assault Rifles etc)? Go and learn it! Your teacher (in this case Armorer Teacher, or the Small Guns Teacher) learned you how to use your tools and knowledge proper and better. But you still don't know how to create more advanced technology out of magic or just by chatting with some more experienced guy.
Find some blueprints! One could also attach some nice instanced quests to it (raiding an old Biological Research Facility to find some ways in creating a Needler pistol etc...)
