It'd be really great to have it implemented. The devs should see this.

A marker would also be beneficial when a player wants to stash his items. For example, it should be possible for a player to hide his weapon and mark the location on his pipboy. Maybe even travelers can accidentally stumble across the location and find it, that would make it exciting. So to avoid that the player would have to put a lock or hide it in a hard to find place so even if another player finds the location, he won't even notice.

I think in this wild west, small villages can emerge and maybe a marker could be used to mark a location where you and other players can work together to make into a functional region. Maybe a global marker would be possible (maybe limited so there won't be too much locations)

If it could be global, maybe it could be used as an ambush. Which is very role playing! A player could see a location on his map and have the choice to risk coming in or not.

It could be used for a barter spot where for example a drug trade takes place.

As we see it would be excellent for RP.

It could also add variety to hideouts.

Mmmhmm, This would Work. Wouldent be to hard to Implememnt I Imagine. Just RE-Add the Old Encounters and Make em Liveable
