So, I've just been killed by a roach... Wearing CA, high EN, a simple roach killed me, is this the way it should be? Should I run as soon as I see roaches?

Well the desert stalker is meant to be a really really powerful beast to watch out for, similar to the deathclaw.
But I agree with you, this 143hp eye crit while wearing a CA is really a bit over the top.

By the way, if they are so godly, why do they offer only about 300 exp?

haha as i tough - they dont have as high crit ratio but they cripple alot so they have improved criticals ^^ what can we say - dont tank them (uh hard to kite them imo as they move v fast and have also have alot of ap for TB ... my guess they should just give triple as much xp as they give now to cover up for how hard they are

in theory if you would ave high resistances you can tank centaurs ( at most they will criple you ) vs DS there is that risk you get isnta killed -thats bad ... and any critter can be farmable - enter with 2 people one kites other one shots easy stuff - any melee critter can be farmed this way

Base xp rates are almost completely random at the moment.

Actually - I've seen a bluesuit with shotgun just the other day - He killed two of those.

You think you had it bad? I was hit for 244 HP by a holy person. So many people in the wastes and I had to meet David Carradine...

The same with a brahmin in pre-wipe, I was wearing sniper rifle+metal armor, and that damned cow knockouted me again and again till I die.

Btw I noticed that Ghouls Scavengers (not Crazies) and Stalkers have great crit % chance. Damned Scavengers got like 6-8 crits on me in a row, fortunately only damage, without effect, and it wasn't head/eye/groin-shot, simple snap shots with mausers. Stalkers kill all molerats without simple hits, criticals only...
