Id partly like to see it, but

what would determine the chance? luck/outdoorsman? To avoid lag, Id put a 5% chance for lost stuff encounter from some lost stuff pool (not based on location), so it would avoid hunting for your own stuff and give chance for some wasteland discoveries :).

The image on the worldmap would load immediately and on the chat it would say "You found something particular" or w/e

It should be completely random.

otherwise it will be just a bunch of powerbuilds searching for treasures.. id rather see alts in use for leading/scouting purposes in this
