Sneak or not to Sneak

Does anyone use sneak? How do you use it? For what purpose? Just seem to be any effective you have 10 int with all your points into (least on paper). Sneak seem it be good but most people have high PE which makes sneaking super hard.

For now Sneak is overabused, because even with 10 PE you can't see your ennemies even if they are close to you. There's no malus of position or wearing an armor for sneak at the moment, so it's really good to use it.

Example : I got 8 PE, and one of my friend has 200 in Sneak. I can't see him from 10 hexes, maybe less.

this is pobably temporary, they will turn on fov ahdn then your characeter will be fucekd

Yeah they switched back to engines default FoV because of lags or something. Before that sneak was more or less useless. With something about 200 skill we were testing it and it was bugged since everyone was able to see me at max range no matter if they were facing me or if they were walking away from me. Sneak worked only from sides and it was nothing extra either so I guess its same as steal - we will have to wait for corrections.

atm the game is using base F2 sneak check afaik -im not sure if the lack of armor/carry penalty is bug but lack of FoV penalty is

atm with 282 sneak you can sneak up to 3hex (you get detected at 3 hex regardless of how much sneak you have) to 10PE character wearing full armor and minigun.

now with the lag sneak is even better as you get the first shot ....
