Where can get Junk?

Someone knows where can get junk?

Find a city or a place with ruins on map (near Frisco and vault 15) then enter this spot and get junk from the ground.

I saw one thing "Junk" but can't pick it up

Junk looks different then all the other "Junks" that are also on a map. Can´t find an ingame picture of it atm, but if you hover your mouse over an object and the "hand" symbol appears you can interact with it. When it is the collectable junk you will pick it up after a click.
