Hella restricting merc limits

Is this the CURRENT setting, or devs really want it to stay like that?

I don't think 5 supermutants or 5 slaves mining ore for you is to restricting. Low charisma is your choice.
4 CH is not the best, it's the same number of followers as with 3 CH.

I suppose it's to prevent personal armies (death traps with caravans etc). Besides it makes high charisma more valuable.
Maybe there are other reasons too...

You're right Jovanka, this setting make more difficult to have your own little army (if you loose your mercs, you'll have to go back to the seller) or to make caravan traps with 15 super-mutant with rocket launcher
But it's really bad for one of the new features which is really good, I think to the slave trading which won't be very interesting with this setting about followers.
Don't you think it should be allowed for players with slaver perk to have an unlimited number of only slaves ? Slaves won't be enough effective to make traps and I guess it's possible to make a limit for slaves who are mining for you depending of your followers limit. Should I make a suggestion thread about that ?

You people scare me. Too much build calculating I think.  I chose 4CH to (with Magnetic Personality) be able to travel with my whole old gang at once (there was 5 of us). It's that simple  :P

Dammit, even +1 followers would do. I think having one spare merc/slave waiting for you wouldn't kill anybody and ruin the balace, right? Especially when the top limit (5) would stay the same.

Yeah, PvP, powerbuilds, exploits, cheats, tricks, grinding, blah, blah. But remember that there are some NORMAL players out there, people who like Fallout/postapo a lot and just wanna have some fun from time to time. And I don't mean myslelf, wiith MP I will be able to have my damn dog, but such restrictions are killing the fun from the game. I understand that limiting number of 5-packs of Supermutants is an important thing, but what my poor ol' Bessie has to do with it?

I found it fun collecting slaves. Does that mean once I become a slaver again I won' be able to collect a bunch?
