Is this basically a public hack/cheat for 1 hex shooting?

Basically yes. Although its just a single feature - VTTA was meant to be a learning project for me to learn some assembler and reverse engineering. I wanted it to have many features like a farming/exping bot. Started with hexbot because I thought it was the easiest one to make. But I found it too time consuming, and I don't think I will add any more features for now. But contributions and ideas are welcome.

Also I understand that the devs don't want to have players running with hexbots in PvP, so here's a hint: just get a different version of the client exe. The offsets/addresses will most probably change and these releases that I posted won't work.
