You don't necesarly need to know scripting to make a good Fallout mod/server. Most of the stuff you might want is already in there. There are plenty of scripts and examples in both TLA SDK and the 2238 Server that you can use, all you need is a very basic understanding of how coding works. In my opinion and experience it's creativity and originality that you need to make an interesting game that people would want to play. But of course you can't do everything for yourself it's too much work for 1 person to acomplish. And as I always say, you probably won't even finish the game, as making a complete new game involves a lot of time and hard work and you have no guarantee that people will like it or want to play it. Creating a FOnline server is a never ending work, you constantly need to come up with new features, quests, locations etc to keep the game interesting for players and not to mention the costs that involve running a FOnline server + dealing with the community of whiners that FOnline currently has(bonus
, if you don' belive me go and read the archives ). I would encourage you to make a Single player game. Why? There aren't any at the moment. Or at least not any good ones.
