[Graphics] Falloutish sewer edge tiles and drain sceneries

(1/2) > >>

JovankaB:
Some graphics I did (with a few original Fallout images as a base) for FOnline: 2238. It  was supposed to make sewers look more like real sewers, because water on the same level as floor didn't look particularly well. Initially I planned much larger set, sewers are an interesting setting for PvE dungeons and quests, but I never had time to finish it. Still, what there is, is quite useful IMHO. So I release it.

License: WTFPL (but take into consideration the drains are modded F2 drains not drawn from scratch)

Nice work :D . Could you maybe make some more vault walls or scenery?

JovankaB:
Probably I will have too little time to work on additional graphics like this one anytime soon.
I want to focus on other things.

Oh ok.. Do you use any programs in particular to make them?

JovankaB:
Photoshop CS2. Tool doesn't matter that much, use what you are most comfortable with. Any versatile raster graphics editor which you know well should be sufficient. Although I think objects like larger sceneries and buildings are best done in 3D then overpainted by hand for more natural feel and some details. That's why I did mostly tiles so far, I know very little about 3D graphics.

Here are some "helpers" I prepared when working on the tilesets, maybe you will find any of this useful:
