You can put the old theme on if you want, under Profile -> Account Settings -> Modify Profile -> Look and Layout -> Current Theme. It's the last option on the list, FO:2238. But yeah, I agree having it on the top by default would be better.

Ya, at the top it would be better, btw show new replies should link to ?action=unreadreplies, not ?action=unread, and unread posts should not contain ;all
