Oh what!? Even though I left 2 years ago I enjoyed every single moment here. Love the community, trolls, devs, GMs and all others!

It's really sad that is over now but I still have a lot interesting screenshots / videos so FOnline 2238 will always stay in my memory as the best server out there!

I wanna thank each and every developer, GM and all guys who were helping with keeping server on (testers, donors etc), also wanna say big thank you to people with who I played, you mostly know who you are, It was an long epic journey all those long nights doing TC, ragging over some stupid bullshit, lvling up, trolling around, having awesome time on mumble/TS with some hardcore accents :D and MUCH MORE!

For my last line here; I really enjoyed playing on 2238 It was simply the best! I'm still in contact with guys with who I played (mostly) for all others hope to see you all on IRC! (I hope it will stay online? )

Farewell!

I never played a game that was so time consuming, but yet somehow enjoyable on so many different levels. :)
It could have been so much more. Sad to see it go.
Thanks for an interesting year on this server with all its assholes and goody-2-shoes, its endless grinding, its quests, its lags, its full-loot policy, its total lawlessness, its idlers and its events.

As a goodbye to FOnline: 2238 I'd like to share the result of my last grinding action ever on this server –
1 random desert map, 2610 glowy beer bottles, 5,5 hours time wasted, 6 screenshots knit together in PS:
(For full size view you'll have to go on the host site, enhancing it in the forum makes it look blurry somehow.

No idea for how long this map will stay in the game. It's a frail and volatile piece of art, just like 2238. If anyone can not believe this madness, I'll gladly taxi you to it, for as long as it remains saved in the servers database :P)

What an impressive work of item-art, sadly encounter locations are deleted when player leaves them if there is no car inside.

Guess what, I have thought of that.
If you look closely you'll find the vehicle that keeps the map up ;)
Thanks to Rusty at this point.

Somehow, I feel as though this is a trick, all just a rouse for the wipe(or considered pre-wipe)... or maybe it's just one of the stages of grief(denial)...

If this shutdown announcement was all part of a well designed PR campaign, they'd have to come up with a killer update after the wipe. I mean groundbreaking changes. Or else people might be too pissed at this kind of mockery.

Don't get too aroused.
