This was expected. With no safe zones and folks grouping up to kill anyone new who tried the game out, did the community actually expect enough new people to start playing and paying the bills?
IMO, this is the only valid reason, why server is being shutdown. Game itself is great, just the majority of old player became haters and expected too much from this we-do-it-in-our-free-time project.
Funny moment was, when all hardly obtain some bp for ca, devs made new update with armors over 50%. Farming was advanced against hard crafting.
It’s why I quit.
There are safe zones - tents and bases, also guarded towns if you're carefull. And people killing newbies? Thats what made the game interesting and challenging for me at the begining. It was hard to survive and learn the ropes and get basic equipment, as it should be when you live in a wasteland. So the same thing that made you quit is what many people liked
Let's bribe the developers with cheap alcohol and some caps to keep FOnline: 2238 alive.
yeah, its like when players asked to improve the game, but devs nerfed it and now server is dying
Sorry, but it just wasn’t worth the stress. I did get a tent- And got followed back to it within 2 hours, killed right then and there (FROM one of those “safe” areas, BTW), and looted.Maybe 1° simpler/easier/whatever you wanna call in one element of play could have made a difference, but that didn’t happen so I move on.
