Game requests subsection.
« on: June 05, 2013, 07:41:26 pm »

I'd like to suggest a subsection for in-game requests, like:

- Character respecs. (deleting char, creating a new one with admin +setvalue powers.)
- Skins for roleplay purposes.
- Single scenery objects without a value on a base/tent, with same applied as above.
- 3 requests can be permitted for free for a account with more than 100% Speech. A designated moderator watches that the speech skill isn't leveled with bullshit posts.
- Additional requests are fulfilled for contributions (art, scenery, music, scripts, dialogues, writing, mapping etc.)

Limits for requests.
- No requests for rare items and anything that can be aquired by normal means in game (weapons, cars, ammo, caps, vanilla bases, etc.)

Profit:
- This is an alternative for paid TLAmkII "services", with the difference that the player actually can contribute in something other than just money.
- GMs won't be bothered ingame anymore and can actually talk to players without being surrounded by beggars. (OMG, it's Voland gimme a deathclaw skin рlz!!!11)
- Motivation for skilled individuals to do something valuable.

Also, applying myself for local moderator against bullshit post leveling, deleting spam and junking invalid requests.

No, seriously.

Requests can be made and implemented, if time is available. Not everything at once.

This kind of stuff sounds a bit weird, but... maybe something like this, combined with other possible features (levelling past 24, ability to read books to increase skills, etc) could encourage players to focus on one character. Not talking about the end of alts, of course, but at least concentrating on one character would be a positive thing.

If devs agree to implemente something like this, maybe it would be interesting to start with smaller stuff like some character's tent/safehouse, and then add some faction stuff like custom flags and decoration. With some requirements to get them (something in-game, not only 100% speech here) and some bonus to make them attractive and not mere eye candy, it might make it possible to regulate players' behaviour a bit.
