send +requesthelp, there is a bug which puts respawning companions in a bugged base

I quit on companions after some bug got rid of my 50 hex critical EW sniper with 281 HP...

Yup. You have to tell them where to go after they "recover".
Only companions though. Mercenaries and slaves don't respawn.
