If you're not in view to see the explosion, you're screen will shake and a loud noise will occur.

Shift +/- Music
CTRL +/- Sound Effects
F1 to check

Actually, the volume was down; I set it just high enough to hear a door open. I may, however, have been closser to it than was particulalry safe IRL (pressure wave), but that screen REALLY shook; I thought there was a server failure at first.

You mean that was NORMAL?! Dear God/s, what does a BIG bomb do? lol..........
Persoanlly I thought it was interesting, maybe slightly amusing, and since I'd never seen THAT before, well...... *shrug*
Mike Crosser:
Maybe a GM dropped a holy hand grenade or wut not.
Usually loud as fuck and causes major lags.
JovankaB:
Funny fact: in default GM interface, the "airstrike the shit out of this place" button was always placed conveniently next to "teleport here" button. Contributed to some funny mistakes. It's fully customizable now thanks to Wipe, so most GMs have it separated (I hope).
This could be just a normal bomb though.
