When quick swapping items I usually put things in the underground tunnel or the graves to the east. But things are pretty often checked because $ seem to spawn in containers there.

Yeah,
If you do not pay, you respawn with ko, and you can have random limb crippled, dunno what about Hell...

Hell is still there but it has a very different function now. You can visit it for realigning your rep if you have the money.
No more instakiller turrets when you die.
