Nice, i really enjoyed this track. And nooo, i didn't know them yet. Have to admit, that i'm kind of a noob in this genre still :).

@Sarakin

Can't watch this video. Again this one is blocked because Youtube/Bertelsmann isn't paying GEMA licence.

@John

2nd Part is pretty good, yeah.

Since i also listen to classical (piaono/strings) music i found a perfect combination of both, classical pieces performed in a jazzy way:

This piece is normaly played on (church) organs.

ps: Why the heck can't i embedd YT-videos anymore btw?

I would recommend Sun Ra's Lanquidity (perfect for crafting!):

George Russell - Ezz-thetics (perfect for TC!)

And some classic big band jazz:

Experimental:

Balthasar:
I liked the Sun Ra song most @davrot :). Also the Taxi Driver song but the rest is a bit too "experimental" for my taste.

I'm curious how will you like those three videos. All of them are my personal friends (they are each other friends, too), really great guys - genius musicians and teachers, devoted to their music, not money. Underrated as hell, like most jazzmen, to be honest.

I was there, sadly I didn't kill the guy who cut that video before the best part. Polish Metheny, or better :) Best guitar tone I've ever heard.

I was there, too! :D Darek is the best bassist I've ever had to watch, either live or online. Really, really unique style - not another slappin' mothafucka.

Grzegorz is more a bluesman than a jazzman, but still great. This is my personal favourite of him, based loosely on "Thrill is Gone" ;d Darek from 2nd video on bass here, great lines.

I never posted on the forum but couldn't resist this thread :p

I'm a big jazz fan too and a noob clarinetist trying to get better :) I ofc love all classical jazzmen such as Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie..... But one style i love ( partly because my brother, an ex-FO player, plays it like a boss) and which isn't represented untill now, is gypsy jazz. But instead of positng a video of the almighty Django Reinhardt, here's a link of Angelo Debarre, a well-known french gypsy jazz musician. I saw him in a small french bar ("Aux petits joueurs") in Paris, it was fucking great so i share :)

Hope you guys (and hypothetical girls :) will enjoy
