What I DID expect from this game (when I started in July 2012):
World from original Fallouts coming alive. There was so much space in Fallouts: all those buildings in Junktown and Hub which served no purpose other that just being there, mysterious LA Boneyard, New Reno Stables with its underground levels, Sierra, Mariposa, Glow, Vaults and abandoned mines of Klamath. I wanted to see all of them reinvented in a multiplayer game.

What I got:
Non of the above. Buildings of Hub and JT remain empty, not much happening in Boneyard, Stables, Sierra and Mariposa are empty, role of Vaults is marginal, Klamath tunnels unaccessible. Only Glow got some extra features.

What I got instead:
Loads of excellent features which ensured many hour of fun:
 - combined world from both Fallouts with some extra locations
 - crafting system (which still leaves a bit to desire but is really awesome thing which original Fallout lacked)
 - faction system (and ability to build own bases which rocks)
 - radios (ever thought how awesome that is?)
 - player interaction (which of course I expected from MMORPG but its still great)
 - Ares Rocket Silo (Since I'm a PvE kind of person - thats the biggest challenge for me in the game. And spoils are great too)

What features I'd love to see:
 - Reinvented Mariposa and SAD (more creatures lurking here and treasures to find)
 - More quests (finished BoS line, some cool quests for Roleplayers, more New Reno crime opportunities, more sidequests which will make players speak to all NPCs like in old Fallouts)
 - More interesting random encounters (in city encounters where you have buildings with first floor - chance of meeting some squatters/hostile bandits, more loot of bookshelves and in containers, more caves occupied by creatures or better equiped raiders)

I gotta go now - I'll finish that post when I get back from gym.
