Crafting - Quantities

I had this idea a long ago but I stopped playing and didn't care. But now that I'm kinda back, I want to ask; Why isn't there a button to change how much do you want to craft from certain item? It's just busy work to do the clicking while It would be much simplier to have this implemented. There is no time requiment for making items so I don't see why this wouldn't make it.
There could be a button to change the value of how much you want to make of something, like when you trade and it asks how much do you want. Simple as that. Would be a nice feature.
