random encounter placement issues.

Disease:
I have noticed that when I get the ''would you like to encounter'' successful outdoorsman gump, I am able to click ''OK'' and then find myself in the worst possible position.. surrounded by many enemies.

So in essence, I had the outdoorsman chance to avoid the whole situation but then I choose yes to encounter and then find myself in a situation that I could not possibly avoid

My suggestion is to cause placement nearer to the outer edge of the encounter map on outdoorsman success.

What is your characters Perception? The placement in an encounter is largly based on that SPECIAL stat. There is also the support perk "Cautious Nature" with makes it more likely you will spawn behind cover, and furthest away from hostile enemies.

ahh, I don't have the cautious nature, and 7 PE.
That may help, so many thanks ^^
but still it would be nice for success in outdoorsmen first before entering the encounter to determine the placement in that encounter as well.

Yeah, I tend to agree here. Seems odd that a master of the wild finds himself totally surrounded by a murder of Geckos while he is in his element. Going to give this a +1.

I can only say that I agree with you and I hope some day it will be changed.
If you were not ambushed, you should spawn somewhere along the grid IMHO.
