Limit the making of tent maps
naossano:
IMO, for poor players and factions (casual/lazy/whatever), the good solution would be :
- Some bases for the main HQ.
- Some tents for secondaries areas.
Even lonelly players need at least one base, to register all their chars and put the stuff they want to exchange between alts, including the tent maps. I think to risky to put a tent map in a public location and dual/fast relog to make sure all chars read it. (especially with the idling treat) I someone spots you, you just gave up you tent and everything inside.
Of course, for big gangs, or well organized lonelly players, having 40+ bases wouldn't be a problem.

Are you kidding? This is one of the most exciting things in the game, risking something. Why should everything be perfectly safe?
Rage master:
Map=Wood+mineral and at least 5in to make map
naossano:
Tent/base are supposed to be safe. Otherwise, why bother buying/building them ? You could just put your stuff in commercial row, if safety doesn't matter.

Bases are supposed to be safe, along with Tents, (barring betrayal) there is already way too much unsafe in the game we don't need to take that away too. I like the idea of paper for the maps, but really the issue isn't the fact that you can make millions of maps from a tent, it's that noobs are leaving them everywhere, limiting maps will only make the noobs go back to leaving Brahmin crap and 9mm ammo everywhere.
