... You saw a companion spawning somewhere? Haven't seen a single one for over a week.

today. they are still spawning you're just in wrong time. i remember like 5 months ago i was looking for one over a week and i thought they doesnt spawn anymore too.

I haven't seen none :P

but I do miss my 267 HP companion that was lost by some bug that said "you've left your companion behind" in a random encounter

They are spawning, but there is 1 or more people who just keep taking them all, usually to leave them standing near their spawn point for days.  It's the new noob troll thing, I got lucky and found 1 that hadn't been picked and it was a thrower so I left it for someone who might need it.  Well he was gone in an hour so I can only hope someone who needed him got it, but I doubt it, since I see similar named people always logged out at the spawn locations.

I've seen 2 walk through NCR in the passed 3 days. Both were female throwers.

Spawn rates are terrible, played for 6 months without seeing a companion until I parked an alt outside a few bars. The rarity of companions coupled with their generally useless stats and their annoying tendency to die permanently when they aren't supposed to.

Only time I managed to get companions was during when we had like 40 players max online.

Companion spawn alts, I have the feeling that something is terribly wrong here.

Heheheh... I camp NCR with my idling companion alt, I take any I see, If they aren't BG or EW, I kill them and wait some more.  ;D
