Remove the NCR rangers from the Vortis slave center.
It makes no sense,seeing how Vortis buys/sells slaves and the Rangers are all anti slaving and all.

I suggested this before to a GM who was standing around in NCR,but I got ignored,so thats why i'm posting here.

If i remember correctly, in fallout 2, ncr doesnt really support vortis nor do they particularly hate him, they allow his business on the outskirts.  The "rangers" are in the inner sanctum so to speak.  No "conflict".

Your suggestion was ignored because those Rangers were placed there some time ago, not sure if by devs or GMs, who also seem to have tweeked the codes that rule their behaviour, in order to prevent the NPC wars between Rangers and NCR Bazaar guards. Before this, you could make Vortis attack you with a dialogue option. He would attack you, then guards would attack him, then Rangers would attack the guards, or something like that. That little bug was solved and the Rangers inside Vortis are part of that.

Doubt it. I know the answer to this one, drugs, guns and slavery are legal outside of the cities walls so that would explain why the do-good rangers haven't blasted the evil sons of bitches away yet. Also as to why the Rangers are camping the slave pens. Imagine your a Cop or something and some retard white supremacists who are stalking up on guns and explosives are just outside of town. Would you or would you not want some of your officers on standby waiting for shit to go down?

If I remember correctly the Rangers ask you to kill Vortis and his guards,after that you get to be a Ranger.

But can't they just change their armors?Or just keep the armors and give them some other skin.Just so it would make sense.
