It's not about realism, it's about the fact that requirement to travel to workbench make pointless
the presence of having weak healing plants all over the wasteland. IMO it should be a survival drug,
which can be produced on desert if you don't have anything better.

Right now I don't know what's the purpose of it beside making your fingers painful when crafting them.

how would you know it makes your fingers painful? Heheh all you have to do is type a command.  :P  But honestly, is this possible for the next update? Or do you not think other devs will agree?
