NPC traders don't want to buy my stuff

Hi.

I'm just coming back to the game after 2 years away and I am having a harder time trying to gather caps now.

It seems the NPC traders just don't want to buy the stuff I want to sell.  They offer 0 caps for leather jackets, stimpacks etc..

If I raise my barter will the NPCs give me caps for the items or not?

Traders most likely now want to buy ammo(SEC, MFC, 10mm, etc.) and caps from you, and that's how you buy stuff from traders...

To make decent caps, sell spears/gecko pelts, you get like 50 caps per each to a person who buys them in certain cities...

Use "Science" on leather jackets to obtain silver gecko pelts and take stims to doctors.

Yeah, all of the items should have a trade value in my opinion... It just makes money making a huge bastard ha.

i also started playing again after 1~ year and its quite problem to get get caps.
shopkeepers dont have any.
was trying logging in in 6:00 in the morning (cet), for few days, to get some caps to buy professions and there was none.

also its very hard to find the right shop to buy your item.
for example - flamethrower fuel. i found out that only shopkeeper in vault city wants to buy it and he dosnt have any caps usually.
m60 - didnt found shopkeeper whom to sell this. tryed ncr, sf, gun runners  and hub.

devs should do something about this, expand npc buy lists and increasing interval when shopkeepers get caps. because this way crafting is not encouraged.
