Things to make to make the game more role-playing

- Lockpicking, stealing and sneaking should be more effective (it means they should need less % to work more successfully).
- Repairing items should be also avaible in NPCs or at players without giving them items to repair (seperately window like fixboy launched like trade)
- The crafting system should be modifed (not-bad idea how to improve it: http://fodev.net/forum/index.php?topic=3496.0)
- There should be one other way to reach the third level of professions (not only joining the enclave or raiders)
- Turn Based mode should be thoroughly fixed

If I recall any more I will add it here. Check it out and write your own proposals.

These are good ideas and some more details would be appreciated but if such things are not already at todo list that devs keep hidden from us then they will most likely never get there because I guess devs had to think about stuff like this already.

But vederas is right. No "facepalm" needed here. All those "features" OP listed sure can come handly to a man who really plays his role in the wasteland.
But in 97 of 100 cased the people who will use this will be abusers, people who want to make each others wasteland life even "harsher" than it is. Then again, overworking the turn based system has nothing to do with roleplay (though I admit it needs some changes), the crafting system is fine as it is and can surely need som little changes, but as the thread title says, none of them are encouraging RP really.

It's the same as quests f.e. Devs spent whole time creating beautiful maps and quests. Most of the players just show up there and saying "yeah cool, where is my reward for stopping pvp for a few seconds?" and so on....
