Make gun go back to last shot fired after reload

Not solved. After reload it goes back to first mode.
If you use gun with only one mode of course the issue isn't visible.

How about using the scroll wheel to quickly change item mode?
Or is that not easily doable either?

Sloppy and you can miss the right selection due to lag
