So f2 engine was too hardcoded to be useful so they made a fallout 2 doppelganger to be easier to work with yet has the same retarded restrictions as the original. Profit?

FOnline Engine was one mans hobby work, not the same company behind F2 with a fulltime payed programmer team.

Fonline engine is much less hardcoded than F2, the only pissful stuff that there is that large part of client interface is hardcoded (that includes weapon mode swapping, automatic cursors changes after certain actions and pipboy,fixboy,character, inventory screens) and cannot be easily modified...
