cant buy dog(probably me being stupid)

Ok, I have 3 chr, 0/35pp, disbanded my cow with disbandparty awayteam, 50 caps. Though maybe at first could have been because I was injured but that wasn't it. Try to buy dog and the asshole calls me a douche. Could someone point out what I am missing please? I just want a puppy to keep me company in the lonely wasteland. Thanks in advance.

As far as I remember dog requires 40 pp.

Take mentats, will allow you to get a dog.


You'll need ments everytime you try to buy a pup.

or just drink a beer, easier to get than mentats
