Exit Junktown at the night

Okay so I had spoken to the guardmen near the entrance and he let me go in at the night.
But now I want to exit the town before the dawn.

Is it possible or I have to wait until the gate will open?

There is a not-that-secret entrance without any guards at the left side of the junktown, where you can go then to the northern grid.
