Topic: please help, cannot update the game (Read 997 times)

hey

i found out about this game from a friend and he told me i should play. i downloaded everything perfectly without any problems, launched the game and it said the game isnt matched with the version so i updated it, no problem. but when i started the updater, this is all that it says:

Connecting to the update server...
Downloading Assimp32.dll. Size: 1133 kb.

its stuck on assimp32.dll and nothing moves. what can i do? i did modify the servers address to the new one, i just dont get it

any help is appreciated, sorry if this doesnt belong here or something XD

alright, i did that. but now its stuck on this:

also ive noticed the new address is fonline2238.net, does it make a difference?

It's OK, address should be fonline2238.net.

Try http://fonline2238.net/files/FOnline2238_Client.zip
This file should be always up to date.

But I recommend you to keep the client you downloaded.
So only unzip in other folder and replace files that updater wants in the client you downloaded.

one more thing actually, i noticed theres no music. since i had to drag the critters and the other file, am i supposed to do something similar with the music one?

put Fallout music in data/sound/music IIRC (not sure)
