Can Mercs be poisoned and radiated? If so, is there a way to check how hard were they poisoned or radiated?

Yes they can be poisoned and radiated and No there is no way to check how much they are ill.

MalcomGraves:
Well, i guess you can spare an antidote if your follower loses HP regularly, and geiger counters can be used on them i think.
