The conditions aren't exactly thrilling either; asking me to come naked into a tent over a ~20k deal makes me think you're more concerned about roleplay than actually doing business.

I won't take any risk dealing with someone I don't know at all. You on the other hand can trust a team which exists for years. The conditions of the deal are the same for everyone. We don't force you to accept but you won't make it at your own terms. Since we sell some of the most rare and useful items of the game, we have the right to decide how the deal will happen.
And btw, coming with some armor on your back wouldn't change anything about your chances to survive if we wanted to betray your trust. ;) Which we'd never do. Asking me to come in NCR with BP in my inventory is ridiculous.

Pfft, you take an item which isn't even that interesting to me and turn it into a hassle. I can deal on any neutral location on the map, but I'm not going unarmed. And I'm definitely not catching a ride on your Underground Railroad just to have a look at some National Geographics.
