well most of the other 2 hand weapons have a 1 hand counter part for example,
laser rifle - laser pistol
Plasma rifle - plasma pistol
Pipe rifle - 10 mm pistol
Gauss rifle - Gauss pistol
yk32 rifle - yk32 pistol
Sniper rifle - 223 pistol

So why not make a 1 handed bb pistol? easy to craft, good for new players to level up with.
Make it not very valuable. crafting like this
1 junk, 1 wood = bb pistol + 10 exp.

Interesting. Maybe something like this:

Damage    1 - 3
Single    AP: 3, Range: 15.
Ammo    BB
Ammo capacity    30
St. required    2
Weight    1267 grams
Base price    60 caps

oh, I know, BB Minigun that shoots 1000 bb in 1 minute

Zip gun craftable and change ammotype to BBs :)
