Yet, metal armors of different types are added only if we have character animations for them. So, for me, suggestion just jumped into "wait for 3d" pit. Fact that yellowish armor will look horrible is another story...
Spotty:
Gold is actually used in spacesuit visors, to reflect infrared, red and yellow light. It is made into a thin layer which you can actually see trough.
A function it could have in 2238 is as a added bonus vs laser. MAMKll could be upgraded to something between Tesla and MAMKll?

they will break climate by adding armors made out of purely brahmin and gecko skins?
hmmm makes sense. but they dont break climate by lettting us get 500000 combat armors and riot gear. right right right.
