When I use either Beer or Mentats and my S.P.E.C.I.A.L. skills get boosted and then they decrease at a certain time, do they stay decreased forever, or do they go back to normal after a period of time?

You don't lose any stat points with Mentats, and with beer, yes, your SPECIAL stats will go back to normal after 30 minutes (that's how long the drugs last). That applies to all drugs.

In addition, if you have chem reliant, the addiction of -1 AP per drug is forever. Also, you might just want to use the Question and Answers thread for small questions like this.
