Suggests input function for fixboy.
Sortblod:
This is only a suggestion and i believe it will be very well indeed supported by every crafter.
Simply, i perceive it as real stressful to conduct the repeated process of having to click my mouse button 20 times in order to craft 20 amounts of that item.
Implement a function that prompts the user the amount of a certain item to craft. If the required resources for x amount is not located in the players inventory, the process results to false and is cancelled. If the x amount actually is located in the players inventory, the process results to true and executes.
Let's imagine that i am gonna craft 4 amounts of 100 .45 caliber. In this case 1 amount of 100 .45 caliber requires 1 junk and 2 gunpowder to be in the players inventory. So multiply required gunpowder with x and multiply required junk with x.
Might be better explained this way:
reqjunk=1
reqgunpowder=2
extract users requested amount to x
reqjunk=reqjunk*x
reqgunpowder=reqgunpowder*x

The idea has been suggested many, many times. An example would be the current third thread of Closed Suggestions board, among others. But it cannot be implemented at the moment (or probably for a while).
Devs have explained that it is hardcoded to engine or something, so it would require cvet, the creator of the engine, to make changes to the FixBoy mechanics. And he's busy with other things.

But they do have the ability to make new functions to the game. Why not ignore the current fixboy and create a new one, just a suggestion.
Kilgore:
Well, an awesome idea, so is there anyone willing to rewrite the whole thing?
Hey, hey, not all of you at once, wait!

We would need to script the fixboy from scratch and we don't have time for that currently.
