Success is 90% hard work and 10% talent so don't worry you can be 9 times better than talented but lazy people.

This is all the way true.  Take it from a dude with an art degree, talent has almost nothing to do with being a good artist.

In the end everything you do, (especially art), will be a function of how much effort you put in to it.  That does not mean just banging your head against a wall either.  Much of that effort should be invested in informing yourself.  Gain perspective, then practice.  Draw the picture again.  And again.  And again.  You will find it gets easier every time, and there is no limit to the quality that can be attained.

True dat.

I learnt this in a course i once did, there where people there who pretty much thought they had no art skill, and by the end of it couldnt believe what they had produced.
Its really something when you stand back and look at something you created, and are wowed by it.

@Lagmaster, i find drawing in paint easier with the line tool. though itd be better if the line wasnt broken until u want it to be.
Try drawing some comic book images with the line tool.

I once draw a Pic of arnold as terminator from a MAD magazine using line tool, my yr11 computer graphics teacher didnt believe me that i draw it. :P

EDIT: trust me give it a try with a simple pic, comic pics best. if it helps use zoom tool for curves.

Why does everyone say they look good? Seriously, I made pictures with more detail back when I was 8 years old.

Number of details does not necessarily make a good art.
Also kids pictures very often are very good.

I second this. Artistic value is not quantifiable in any way.
