because 1% would require wipes every year before caps became absolutely worthless, inflation isn't a constant increase.

Not, really. After 100 days price will raise about 2,7 times, so money still will be worth, but a much less. I dont see any problem with that. However I better like the idea with disappearing 1% of money in stacks, it is much easier.
