use-key-once on locker
« on: June 27, 2012, 03:12:40 pm »

this is suggestion about treasure hunting :

once you meet raiders encounter you can spot there dog, dog can have key in inventory ([luck]x[pe]x[od]x[y]), where y is some value which lower chance to get key

once you kill all raiders and pick up key u can use key in any locker u spot in urban area, but just one time, u ll get dialog like : [key fits locker but stuck inside and u cant use it nomore]

this is ability for simple gamers/character with no lockpick alt to get bp from locker or valueable item
also improving treasure hunting for that who have 300% skill and fail with hardcore lockers or just dont want to use lockpick for 10min in one encounter.

If I understand correctly, it actually seems like a nice idea. This would give blueprint hunting, which I find to be utterly boring, more variety, and give a use to those useless Raider encounters.

no point in farming stims when you can farm super stims twice as easy and twice as fast.

You clearly never threw stims at NCR.

Stims are smaller.

It usually takes most of the NCRers a lot longer to fight for a single stim.
