Free to anyone who solves the problem of my sound effects not working.
PS:
1. my sound works for everything else (including Fallout 2)
2. my sound worked in FOnline previous to the January update

put sound files or redownload with them in data?

Redivivus:
it should go in General Game Discussion actually.
In case of.. tap F1 in game and check your sound/music level. Maybe they switched to null.

Neither of these suggestions work, but thank you for your time and effort.  :)

I should note that I have done a fresh install and followed the directions available in this thread:

but still no sound effects.

dont you happen to have some old / rare sound card?
install latest driver for it , it cant do a harm
