BP hunting : beartraps how much skill is safe

just encountered my first bear traps. man those are mean!
i managed to do one but the other went off and then another went off. Then a rollback happend so it doesnt matter much but for next time?
i have 64% traps and can still add how much should i add?

also is loot better when theres traps?

My alt has 126% traps skills with the Demoltion perk and Light Step.
With that, I disable bear traps and land mines.

For some odd reason, everytime I fail, I never get hurt but I still disable them
