Christ, good job commenting and making a semi-literate essay on two words that had nothing to do with the actual purpose of my post and ignoring the actual arguments. It was whining because what they were doing would not affect you negatively at all (they would just kill you anyway, this way they at least give option to live), yet you still complained.

John.Metzger:
hey, this is cool. or was cool, i guess.
sounds the same like any other "playerdriven-rules > massacre" thread. and it's treated the same way by the community.
the rules are ok, i like the part where it comes to holding a flower. radio response could fail or is already bad. a pity.
even this bad guy attitude is cool, raider style (leaving aside past pvp stories)
in view of the negative posts in this thread, it comes to the feeling there were to much pvp "pew pew our faction is best!" - events already to discuss such stuff in here. but even if you get off the flames, the most things like this falling with the fragility of the game mechanics, and people who use them for their trolling or disturbing actions, indeed.
thats why we got the militia. and we all know how much we like them.
wether good or bad, rules for visitors are always better than deathmatch in the north.

Giftless:
This protection racket thing is a joke unless you can enforce it; and I dare say in FOnline it's much easier to run the blockade than it is to develop one.

It was cool indeed. To the moment when we faced rollbacks that were wiping our hard-earned militia every time the server was down and massive attacks of trolls, that are able to kill fully equipped soldier guarding the city with one plasma grenade. We had to abandon this idea - it wasn't meant to give us a profit, we were usually giving the stuff from TC locker rather than requesting that fees, but we couldn't afford such a losses, also. Requests of help from GM's (nothing special, really - just some VC-style 'day pass' items that we could give away) were also fully ignored, no response at all. Now even if we would like to protect the city (from who? noone even seems to be interested in taking it away from us, barely anyone visits it for purpose other than companion check), it's pointless.
