Edit: id probably search the Fallout wiki for things of this nature, you will just get lame answers here.

squares? really, what do u call the area u live in in RL?.......Land?

--- End quote ---

The valley of Uranus?

But that's just where the little brier rabbit tracks end.

boatshift:
just call it land

Gimper:
hmm... i would call them... coordinates, but that's just my opinion.

davrot:
Rollback Mountain

Tree:
Usually just call places to farm and exp grind "raiders" "unity" "san fran" "VC" "bos" "enclave" "molerats" "desert" and squares is usually what I would call the rest.

I think majority of the player base calls the area where there is no mountians and everything directly south of gordons gas station "the desert".

If you wanted to make up creative map labels, I would call molerats the molerat nest, and unity area the land of the day after tomorrow becuase that is when you would find a unity encounter, the day after tomorrow.
