This game is dead

Gargantua:
Bla bla bla bla.

What we need gentleman... is a marketing strategy, with a set date for a rebirth of the game.  A couple of stupid internet posters, and maybe a 30 seconds youtube clip that's fun, coupled with some direct targetting strategies.

Call it the Defibrilation plan

BOOM, you'll have everybody back in here.

Think about it, if they said SEPTEMBER 1st is the next wipe, even if it was just a simple reset from EXACTLY what is,  and we had all the tools in place, and targetted/emailed everyone who has an account on this site, and had all the links and information ready for people to download streamlined on one page view, you'd almost surely get 50% of the membership interested, buzzing about this place, and their friends.  We're back in business.

If you REALLY want to make it interesting, pose a new threat, or create a mystery, in the advertising, that leaves people wanting more. For Example, *Towns are being wiped out!  Everyone is Modoc is DEAD, the HUB is a smoldering ruin, People are going missing throughout the wastes everyday. The wastes is in search of the chosen one, who will rise to save the wasteland again.

All of this work could probably be pulled off by 3 people in an afternoon.

People want more of this Genre, something they haven't gotten yet, that's why the come here.  Dare I say, the game would suddenly be that much more exciting to play too.

your the game Developer and dont even know how much your data files cost. amazon 10$ to download it gog 5.99 my debit card wont allow transactions with 3rd world countries i guess "shrugs". so i went to bestbuy down the street and got it for 7.99, figured may as well get the disk at 7.99 instead of amazon download. yah im sure it would be hard to convince them to allow you to sell data files.considering they would make more money and it wouldnt hurt sales, not to mention its an outdated product that no one else wants or needs. your right im suure they would refuse to deal with you lol

oh yah and im sure its a bad idea for you. considering you couldnt use that 3 or 4 bucks a download to help develope or addvertize your game. more over its a bad idea because of the 100s of people that have walked because they got sick of trying to get the game to work. having a place were were you have a down a complete version at a small price would be bad because thouse 100s of people may play the game

no i never played fallout 2 i didnt like fallout 1 so i didnt see the point of it. how ever a  multi player version "looked" prommising til they came out with a real up to date version.

Slaver Snipe/ you guys make me laugh, seen forums from guys like you crying about fallout 3. its not everyone elses fault you got stuck in a game 14 years ago. fallout two must have been great considering they didnt make another one for 10 years lol. how many awards did fallout 3 get and sold how many copies, enough said. your like one of them guys that wears 70s clothing and thinks hes cool yet everyone else is wierd lol.

Mike Wall/ NO it went from one error to another. every time i fix a problem another is created. if its this much of a problem to get it running then i can amagine how bad the game is. by what ive seen in the forums that assumption is correct.

sensing laziness ,short sightedness, maybe even incompetence. have you even called an attorney to look into it for you, do you even have an attorney. do you even know who owns the rights to them files. so your telling me these little rinkydink game sites have done what you cant and you have had this running for 3 years. oh and we are not even talking full game versions just data files and no title infringment.

::) wow his big comeback is making fun of the dollor, ok ill bite. i do recall 1 euro being worth 1.40$ but a couple years ago.......what happend lol
im sure you're ecconomy is good considering we have over 50,000 of our troops stationed there for national defence. when you have to pay that bill you're self its about 75 billion dollors.
