I did try it like a year or so ago briefly but didn't get into it. But playing Fallout 1 and 2 again i'm still keen. I may just have to go and finish my fallout 2 game. I'm close to the end.

Last year got worse than previous one,but still fucking cool.No uber needs for alts,a decent fighter could farm his own gear and be easily self sufficient.Fairly easy caps.from 150 to 400 players average.Nice mechanics,slightly favouring snipers.Well organized teams.Events,even player driven.(boxing tournament in new reno,anyone remembers..?).Battles everyday in almost every town.Den plaza full of people roleplaying south,while north the battle for the hq mine was raging.I want to cry,y'know.Even wandering with some guns and ammo and making some new friends was fun.Heavy pvp in reno...suicide bombers.Huge mercs battle,traps.ohhh sweet memories.

Wow.. that sounds awesome. There wasn't much happening in most places I went to at all except for ncr had groups of people standing around.

I may need a time machine.
