fallout like movie book of eli

I didn't like the ending book of eli had; wtf is she going back on the road for, it was already made clear she can't protect herself.
The "of the dead" series by Romero qualify as post apocalyptic movies afaik..i prefer to act as if Romero stopped after Day of the Dead and find the first 3 movies awesome. ( Dawn of the dead being the best one )
