It is just a ruin map- no tent.
Also you cannot make a tent in this type of ruin.
I suppose you could hide a car there and just use the upstairs room as a tent. No workbench or campfire.
If you accidentally drove the car away you would lose everything.
Maybe leave a few caravans there to be safe.
You can't leave mercs at non-tent/base areas, so guarding the place can be difficult.
(How long until a car becomes invisible?)
Can you leave mercs in car-maps? It would make sense if you could leave mercs behind to guard a car.
(Then just happen to use them to guard a "non-tent".)
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but aren't cars way easier to be found than a proper tent? A tent won't show up in random encounters and won't be found unless you let someone stalk you there.
Previous wipes, I've always had a ruined city tent, but I grew tired of it, it's monotonous. Interestingly enough, it has a sewer drain but no further interaction is allowed
The desert tent is too simple for me.
The beach tent is simple as well, only it has a shoreline but in the end it feels like the desert with a beach and gets boring. Still, last wipe I had a beach tent in the real location of malibu, making for good fun (and two and a half men jokes, post-apoc version)
Currently I have a nice, cozy mountain shack. Surrounded by the mountain and a few trees make for a nice home in the middle of nature.
I tried to set tents on:
Deep desert west of the Brotherhood: That was my first playthrough of Fonline, and I was paranoid with people finding my tent. Fortunately, I couldn't build a tent there.
Ruined city map with two story building; Ohhh.. how I wish I could settle my tent there, like squatters would do. Unfortunately that's not allowed. It had some nice containers, doors and shit...
Coastal ruined city map: Where city meets water, with a long sidewalk and railed deck to admire the ocean while still enjoying the comfort of a ruined city. Sadly, can't build tents there.
