Question for devs regarding perk mechanics

Am I right to assume pyromaniac dmg is added after defense calculations like living anatomy used to be since it doesn't show up in the inventory screen?
Also the +5 dmg from fast shot is applied to all attacks or only single shots? I've heard it affects all weapons can you confirm this? Does it also add after defense calculations dmg like LA?
Bonehead and man of steel stack for 20% head/eye resist?

It looks like pyromanic add just damage to hit, because You can kill Fire Gecko with a flamer , using 2x pyromanic perk u deal 40 dmg.

This means pyromaniac damage is added after crit calculations right?
*Edit: wait, if you deal exactly 40 damage to fire gecko's: is the added damage from the perks even considered fire damage?
